The registered provider of Grace of His Glory (GOHG), is a highly qualified Director/Proprietor. Holding a Pg. Cert in Dual Diagnosis and Mental Health Nursing, she brings valuable expertise to our care and support services.
With a Diploma in Leadership Skills from Winner Chapel, she has an extensive background as a nurse in diverse settings, including a female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), prison, and as a Community Psychiatry Nurse. Her leadership extends to managing a Community Mental Health Service for 9 years.
With nearly two decades of direct client group experience, she is certified in Mentalised Based Therapy, CBT, and DBT. She takes a lead role in client initial and risk assessments, providing recommendations prior to placements at GOHG. She is actively involved in continuous care, support plans, and relapse prevention for our tenants.
Our Specialty Dual Diagnosis Nurse, holds a DipHE in Mental Health Nursing and is a Nurse Prescriber with over 10 years' experience in substance misuse services and various mental health skills.
Her role is custom-tailored to guide clients toward a maintenance stage or achieve abstinence where possible. She engages in monthly discussions on drug of abuse testing, signposting clients to appropriate community services, and collaborative work with our in-house team and external agencies.
With over 15 years' experience in Housing and the NHS, our dedicated social worker serves as both a social worker and Safeguarding Lead, bringing a wealth of expertise to support our tenants.

With a deep understanding of the complexities within the realm of housing and healthcare, our team of social workers play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being, security, and overall success of those within the GOHG community.
Led by a qualified clinician, our project is run by Recovery Focus Support Workers (RFSW), collectively committed to enhancing the supported living experience. Each RFSW has substantial experience in catering to individual mental health support needs. They undergo regular mandatory training, including safeguarding of vulnerable adults, health and safety, Equality & Diversity, Mental Capacity Assessment, Mental Health awareness training, information governance, basic life support, conflict resolution, and medication training. Additionally, they engage in non-mandatory training such as Autism awareness, harm minimisation, and various other relevant areas. Together, our team is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care in supported living.
At Grace of His Glory (GOHG), our dedicated team of 8 care staff is committed to providing optimal support to service users, ensuring their wellbeing is at the forefront. We prioritize staff development by offering comprehensive training, induction, and ongoing education, coupled with relevant qualifications and experience.
Our Recovery Focus Support Workers follow personalised development plans that include essential health and safety training. They are encouraged to pursue non-essential training based on their evolving needs, aiming to attain qualifications that contribute to their career growth.
Training methods encompass a mix of formal classroom sessions, online modules, specialized health task delivery training, job shadowing, and informal learning through resources from mental health charities, stroke victim support groups, dementia organizations, and others.
